Edge, a full-service commercial real estate firm with offices in Washington D.C., Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania, has announced the hiring of Wilson Purcell as Senior Associate with the Capital Markets platform that specializes in investment sales of suburban office, industrial/flex, and neighborhood retail assets. Mr. Purcell brings more than five years of financial analysis, project management, and market research experience to this new position and previously functioned as Senior Consultant for Deloitte Consulting. Earlier this year, the Edge Capital Markets Group selected Cristine Kleine as Senior Director.

In his new role, Mr. Purcell will support the Edge Capital Markets team with a variety of functions to help execute successful sale and acquisition outcomes for its clients. His role will be to perform asset underwriting, valuation analysis, market research, project management and new business development. His diverse background in real estate consulting will enable him to leverage his institutional client service experience and corporate project management skills.

Mr. Purcell also worked for JLL as an Analyst supporting the Public Institutions team. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Davidson College.
