David Paulson, a professional that began his commercial real estate career in 1987, has joined Greenspring Realty Partners, Inc. (GRP) as Senior Vice President. GRP is a Baltimore-based commercial real estate and investment company that focuses on the acquisition of opportunistic real estate investments, as well as providing a range of brokerage services to owners and investors. Mr. Paulson was formerly associated with Blue & Obrecht Realty as Senior Vice President and spent six years with the firm.

In his new position, Mr. Paulson will work with users of office, flex and warehouse space to help implement solutions to their commercial real estate needs in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan region. Likewise, he will provide both transactional and consulting services to tenants, landlords and investors.

Mr. Paulson also worked as a brokerage professional with Manekin Commercial Real Estate and Corridor Commercial Real Estate, as well as functioning as Vice President of Leasing for Parkway Companies. Throughout his career, he has executed more than 30 transactions annually,for a total approaching 900 closed deals with a cumulative value exceeding $750 million.

A graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park, Mr. Paulson also earned a Masters of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His first real estate assignment involved handling distressed assets in his capacity as the first Executive Director of the Maryland Economic Development Corporation. His volunteer experience includes work with the Maryland Family Network, Stevenson University, The Chimes and Abilities Network.
