CounterFlow AI, the first security provider to deliver intelligent network forensics for the Security and Operations markets, today appointed Bill Cantrell as Chief Product Officer. Cantrell joins the company from FireEye, where he served as vice president of product management. In his new role, Cantrell will oversee CounterFlow’s solution portfolio and grow its capabilities to support customers’ emerging network intelligence needs.

Cantrell’s appointment follows the company’s introduction of ThreatEye, its flagship ML platform for intelligent network forensics. ThreatEye is a scalable platform deployable across hybrid cloud and on-premise IT environments that brings together machine learning, full packet capture and visualization to identify network faults, anomalies and threats at wire speed.

In Cantrell’s most recent role at FireEye, he oversaw product management teams responsible for developing the FireEye network security strategy which included the Network Security (NX, VX), Forensics (PX, IA, AX), File Security (FX) and Cloud MVX product lines. Before joining FireEye, Bill served as vice president of product management at nPulse Technologies co-founded by Caldejon where he launched new capabilities to expand the solution portfolio and worked with the leadership team to accelerate sales and revenue growth leading to the successful sale and transition to FireEye.
