CREW DC Presents "Mind the Gap: How Women Can Take Steps Toward Pay Equity"

10/16/17

Quinn Texmo

Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) DC invites both members and non-members to our November 14th, 2017 luncheon program featuring JEO Consulting Group Emerging Business Group leader, Quinn Texmo, CPSM. If you Google “pay disparity between men and women”, about 176,000 search results show up. Quinn Texmo will focus on this enormous and systemic issue, as well as ways that individuals can lessen this gap. By the end of this presentation, guests will have a better understanding of some of the reasons why women are often paid less, promoted less, and struggle more within the workplace, as well as walk away with an understanding of some steps we can take to close the gender pay gap.

Quinn Texmo is the Emerging Business Group Leader at JEO Consulting Group, where she is responsible for leading five departments. Quinn has served as President for both the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) Nebraska Chapter as well as Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Omaha Metro. She is an active public speaker, speaking on the topics of both generations in the workplace and female leadership and communication styles in male-dominated industries.

This lunch program is open to members and non-members and will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at The Mayflower Hotel at 1127 Connecticut Avenue, NW in Washington, DC. General registration is available through the CREW DC website at www.crewdc.org.

Reporters are invited to attend this luncheon meeting free of charge, space permitting, but must contact Karen Widmayer at 301-661-1448 or e-mail karenwidmayerpr@gmail.com to register prior to the event.
