Tim Geithner’s Bethesda Home Up for Sale
Former Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner has put up his Bethesda home for sale, Business Insider reported, citing the real estate site Curbed.
Geithner and his wife bought it for $950,000 in 2009 and are now selling it for $995,000, the report said.
“Geithner is not a fancy guy. His four-bedroom house is pretty modest, yet spacious,” Business Insider said, pointing out that “he can (now) do all the things that former Treasury Secretaries do — write books, speak on TV programs, hang out with his family, and most importantly, leave Washington.”
Matt Modesitt of Redfin has the listing.
