Sala Thai will open a new restaurant at Rhode Island Row at the intersection of Rhode Island Ave. and Reed St. NE in Washington, DC. The Sala Thai lease is for 2,480 square feet.

Brad Buslik and Geoffrey Mackler with H&R Retail represented the tenant in the transaction.

Located near the Rhode Island Avenue Metro Stop, Rhode Island Row features 70,000 square feet of retail and 274 residential units. Rhode Island Row is being developed by A&R Companies and Urban Atlantic. Sala Thai joins Chipotle, Carolina Kitchen, and DMV as tenants.

Sala Thai is a regional operator with four current locations. In addition to Petworth and U St. locations, Sala Thai restaurants are located on M St. in Washington D.C. and on Cordell Ave. in Bethesda, Md.
