Opower, a leading provider of cloud-based software to the utility industry, announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to the proposed initial public offering of its common stock. The number of shares to be sold and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined. Opower plans to list its common stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol ?OPWR.?
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Goldman, Sachs & Co. will act as lead book-running managers for the proposed offering. Allen & Company LLC, Pacific Crest Securities LLC, Canaccord Genuity Inc. and Cowen and Company, LLC will act as co-managers.
