Marking its return to the market, Loews Hotels & Resorts has put finishing touches on a $23 million renovation of the Loews Madison Hotel in downtown Washington, DC.

The milestone includes the hotel's Golden Anniversary.  Located at 1177 15 St. NW, the 356 guestrooms include nine suites. The Jefferson Suite recently was listed in the Top 101 Suites in the World by Elite Traveler.

"It's an exciting time for us at Loews Hotels as we return to Washington, D.C.," said Jonathan Tisch, chairman of New York-based Loews Hotels & Resorts. The hotel was acquired at the end of December 2012.
