Hines has retained Holliday Fenoglio Fowler LP to court buyers for the LEED Platinum 1200 Nineteenth St., an 11-story trophy with 334,000 square feet of office space in downtown Washington, DC.

The 86 percent-leased building is part of the portfolio of the Hines U.S. Core Office Fund, which last week put two trophies up for sale in Manhattan. A major redevelopment and expansion of the DC building was completed in spring 2009.

"1200 Nineteenth is one of the few LEED® Platinum multi-tenant office buildings in D.C., and it offers investors the opportunity for a pristine asset with a stable, diversified rent roll in a prominent and accessible location," said Stephen Conley, HFF executive managing director. The HFF marketing team includes Andrew Weir, Jim Meisel, Dek Potts and Matt Nicholson.

Designed by SmithGroup, the building boasts 23,000 square feet of fully leased retail space on the ground level. Located at the intersection of Nineteenth and M streets, the office tenant roster includes McKinsey & Co. Inc., USA; Squire Sanders LLP; Navigant Consulting Inc.; Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice PLLC; and MOI Inc.
