Montgomery County has acquired The Hamptons at Town Center, located at 19757 Crystal Rock Dr. in Germantown, MD, Harbor Group International for $90.25 million. Harbor Group will continue to manage the property on behalf of Montgomery County.

CBRE’s Baltimore-Washington DC Multi-Housing Investment Team arranged the sale of the 768-unit garden apartment community. Bill Roohan, Michael Muldowney, Michael Rudolph, Brian Margerum, Andrew Boyer, and Martha Hastings represented the seller in the transaction.  

Built between 1979 and 1982, the Hamptons at Town Center recently underwent a capital improvements program. The complex is within a half-mile of I-270, offering access to the county’s I-270 Technology Corridor. It is Within steps of Germantown Commons Shopping Center and features private balconies and designer lighting fixtures.

The complex is approximately 97 percent occupied.
