Clarion Cuts Ribbon on $32M Makeover of Chevy Chase Pavilion
After one year of construction, Clarion Partners LLC has unveiled the $32 million renovation of Chevy Chase Pavilion, an 894,921-square-foot mixed-use development in northwest Washington, DC.
The atrium has been transformed, the parking garage retooled and several new tenants brought on board at Chevy Chase Pavilion, located at 5335 Wisconsin Ave. The roster boasts RANGE by chef Bryan Voltaggio, Civil Cigar Lounge, H&M, Embassy Suites, Cheesecake Factory, J. Crew, World Market and Starbucks. Cassidy Turley manages Chevy Chase Pavilion for the New York-based owner.
In 2011, Clarion Partners secured LEED Silver certification for a nine-story office tower, totaling 204,621 square feet as the first phase of the asset's renovation. RAND Construction built out the 14,000-square-foot RANGE and the 93-seat Civil Cigar Lounge while HITT was in charge of building the shell for H&M.
RANGE and Civil Cigar Lounge opened in December 2012, and new tenant H&M will debut in a three-level store with 21,700 square feet of floor space in the spring of 2013.
“These extensive and enduring renovations are designed to keep Chevy Chase Pavilion at the forefront of the retail, office, hospitality and dining experience in the region,” said Marc Deluca, Clarion's managing director.
