ASRC Federal Relocating HQ to 50,000 Square Feet in Beltsville
Beltsville, Md. -- ASRC Federal Holding Co., a government contractor owned by 11,000 Iñupiat shareholders, native people of northwest Alaska, has signed a lease to relocate its headquarters from Greenbelt to a 50,000-square-foot, build-to-suit space at Konterra Business Campus on Muirkirk Road in Beltsville.
The new lease was arranged by CBRE Group, a major commercial real estate services firm headquartered in Los Angeles. CBRE’s Mike Gillman and Brad Wilner represented ASRC Federal in the transaction.
ASRC Federal was established in 2003 to provide oversight and operational services to its multiple subsidiaries working with federal agencies. The company provides a financial platform and standards for efficient operations.
The company’s new, two-story headquarters building will be part of the 135-acre Konterra Business campus, which is part of a 2200-acre mixed-use development situated in Prince George's and Montgomery counties, straddling Interstate 95, one exit north of the Capital Beltway.
“The location at Konterra allows ASRC Federal to remain in Prince Georges County to attract a strong employee base,” said Mike Gillman. “The new building will be in close proximity to the InterCounty Connector and allows the company to have more efficient and more collaborative workspace.”
ASRC Federal is expected to complete its relocation in February 2014.
