Artisan Partners To Construct New Synagogue In Kemp Mill Section Of Silver Spring, Md
Artisan Partners Construction Services announced that it has received the contract for the construction of new synagogue facilities for Chabad of Silver Spring, an Orthodox Jewish Congregation. The new building will be located at 519 Lamberton Drive in the Kemp Mill section of Silver Spring.
The project includes the demolition of an existing structure on the site and the construction of a 6,000-square-foot building. The new facilities will house a sanctuary, classrooms, office space, and a library.
Artisan will provide complete construction management services for the project, including construction drawings, permitting, contract bidding, and oversight of work through completion.
The construction budget has a value of $1 million.
This new synagogue project is a continuation of Artisan’s active involvement in construction and renovation services for Jewish congregations. Previous major construction projects were performed on behalf of Temple Sinai in Washington, DC and Young Israel Shomrai Emunah in the Kemp Mill section of Silver Spring, Md.
