New York-based 601 W Companies has paid $85 million for the Intelsat HQ building on Connecticut Ave in Washington, D.C., according to Bisnow, which reports that CBRE's Rob Faktorow brokered the transaction.
Intelsat will lease a portion of the building for an 18 month term at a gross rent of $9 million annually while it shops for a new headquarters.
