Next “Beyond Graduation” event, scheduled for August 9, designed to provide guidance on career choices, interviewing techniques and personal marketing

Continental Realty Corporation (CRC), through its CRU Executive Series, is hosting two seminars designed to assist current or recently-graduated college students with career advice, interviewing techniques and personal marketing tips. After organizing the first event in July, CRC is offering a second seminar on August 9 from 8 am through 3:30 pm at the company’s corporate office at 1427 Clarkview Road in Baltimore. “These events are the outgrowth and response to consistent feedback we receive concerning the need for targeted direction to help guide young people make the right career decisions, as well as assisting with the job search,” explained Gene Parker, President of Continental Realty Corporation and the program moderator. “Our company, which organizes a similar activity for our corporate interns each summer, leverages the experiences and insights of both CRC’s executives and its human resources team with insightful presentations. The day also includes a panel discussion comprised of financial, real estate and graduate education experts, as well as a networking session.”

Additional highlights of the seminar include presentations by Matt McNeeley, Director of Talent Management for CRC on networking skills and the use of LinkedIn in the job search process; a discussion and explanation of individual personality profiles from Kaitlyn Kivi, Senior Human Resources Generalist for CRC; and the completion of professional head shot photographs that attendees can use for networking purposes.
