Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the completion of nine transactions for 35,111 square feet of new and renewed commercial space throughout the greater Hampton Roads, Virginia market.
Lease Transactions
Off The Hook Seafood leased 3,641 square feet of retail space in The Center Shops located at 2000 Colley Avenue in Norfolk, Va. George Fox represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. This is the second location for the Chesapeake-based seafood restaurant. The site is the former Azar’s space in the Ghent neighborhood of Norfolk.
Hand & Stone leased 2,345 square feet of retail space in Greenbrier Marketcenter located at 142 Greenbrier Parkway in Chesapeake, Va. George Fox represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. This is the first location in Hampton Roads with plans to open additional sites throughout the market.
Noodle Man leased 1,540 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Haygood Shopping Center located at 1021 Independence Boulevard in Virginia Beach. George Fox represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Haygood Shopping Center include Marshalls and Chick-Fil-A.
Hairline Beauty Salon leased 1,307 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Lake Shore Plaza located at 5193 Shore Drive in Virginia Beach. David Bickford represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
Wu Dao Kung Fu USA leased 1,000 square feet and Hairlines Salon leased 800 of retail space in the Divaris-leased York River Crossing located at 2270 York Crossing Drive in Hayes, Va. Mary McGovern and Aeri Jai represented the landlord in both the lease negotiations.
Lina’s Beauty Salon leased 915 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Shoppes at Lake James located at 5347 Lila Lane in Virginia Beach. Kayla Olson represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
Lease Renewal
Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company renewed its lease for 20,563 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Armada Hoffler Tower located at 222 Central Park Avenue in the Town Center of Virginia Beach. Krista Costa, Vivian Turok and Michael Divaris represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
American Addiction Treatment Center renewed its lease for 3,000 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased Liberty Commons located at 12695 McManus Boulevard in Newport News, Va. Karen Beale, SIOR represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
