Warschawski Appoints Rachel Henderson As VP

Warschawski, a full-service advertising, marketing, digital, public relations, branding, web design, creative and crisis communications agency, announced today the addition of Rachel Henderson as Vice President. In this role, Rachel will provide strategic guidance on the agency’s client accounts, oversee the execution of integrated marketing communication campaigns and ensure all clients receive the highest quality of service and care. In addition to her strategic communications background, Rachel is a thought leader in the growing Virtual Reality (VR) space and will bring this expertise to the agency and its clients. As a member of Warschawski’s senior leadership team, Rachel will play an active role in the agency’s strategic direction and new business development.

Rachel is an award-winning senior communications professional with more than 12 years of marketing, PR and digital experience. Prior to joining Warschawski, Rachel was Vice President of Corporate and Public Affairs for Ogilvy Public Relations in Washington, D.C. Most recently, Rachel served as Communications Manager for the United Nations Foundation’s Nothing But Nets campaign, the world’s largest effort to fight malaria.

During her career, Rachel has won more than a dozen communications and film industry awards, including several for her work launching the VR film, “Under the Net” for Nothing But Nets; for her role on the LIVESTRONG Global Cancer Campaign; and for her role on the Huggies® Every Little Bottom program. Throughout her career, she has managed strategic media relations for celebrity and athlete ambassadors, as well as corporate and nonprofit partners and clients.

During her time with Nothing But Nets, Rachel gained a strong expertise in VR programs, creating several award-wining campaigns and speaking at industry conferences across the country about the power of virtual reality platforms; most recently at the VRX Conference & Expo in San Francisco.

Rachel holds a dual B.A. from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Media and Society and Spanish and Hispanic Studies. She is an active member of PRSA, Washington Women in Public Relations, The Communications Network, and Women in Sports and Events. When not in the office, Rachel enjoys country line dancing and training for half-marathons.
