LeafSpring School is the new name of the former Rainbow Station childhood education company based in Henrico County.
The new name became effective Tuesday and comes as the company plans to grow from 12 locations to 22 locations in the U.S. over the next few years.
“For close to 30 years, this company has been pretty consistent in providing the highest quality early education programming available,” said Vance Spilman, the company’s chief executive officer.
“As there have been more and more new entrants into the market, we have come across numerous other brands that use rainbow in their name. So starting about two years ago, we set out to identify our own unique and differentiated name,” Spilman said.
