Neuman Commercial Group, LLC has negotiated the end-of-year sale of Goshen Plaza,a 45,800 square-foot CVS Pharmacy-anchored shopping center, shadow-anchored by Giant Food, in Gaithersburg, Montgomery County, Maryland, a high-income suburb of Washington D.C. The property sold today for $14 million. Located at 9140 Rothbury Drive, the recently renovated Goshen Plazais 93% leased to 18 national and regional tenants including CVS Pharmacy, McDonald’s, Metro PCS, Pizza Hut, Mathnasium, Subwayand Pet Value. Neuman Commercial Group, led by Principal, Gil Neuman, negotiated the year-end sale on behalf of the buyer, Hotels USA of Hunt Valley LLC, from sellerElion II Goshen, LLC.

The property is located off the Washington National Pike (I-270), 14 miles from the Capital Beltway (I-495) in the heart of Montgomery County’s North I-270 Technology Corridor, or “DNA Alley” (Time Magazine), home to the world’s largest collection of genomic and tech / biotech firms. Major employers include GlaxoSmithKline, Medimmune / AstraZeneca, Qiagen, Emergent BioSolutions, Lockheed Martin, Hughes Network Systems, as well as government institutions National Institute of Health / National Cancer Institute, National Institute of Standards & Technology and the US Department of Energy.
