OBXtek, Inc.recently hired Tim Johnson as Vice President of Enterprise Information Technology (IT)Service Management, a position that was created to accommodate OBXtek’s exponential growth, announced Dale Spencer, OBXtek President and Chief Operating Officer.

“In this role, Johnson will ensure that OBXtek’s Enterprise IT Service Management practice has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, people and systems in place to effectivelygrow the practice and to ensure financial stability and operational efficiency,” Spencer said.

As part of his duties, Johnson will oversee OBXtek’s programs supporting the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, General Services Administration, U.S. Department of Agriculture, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

During his more than 30-year career in Information Management and IT, Johnson has worked directly for Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L), Office of the Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Joint Staff HQ, Office of Veteran Administration (VA), Office of Naval Research (ONR), Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, (SPAWAR) and Naval Aviation Systems Command (NAVAIR), and the Department of State Diplomatic Security.
