CBRE Appoints Kyle Schoppmann Executive Managing Director And Market Leader

CBRE today announced that Kyle Schoppmann has been appointed Executive Managing Director and Market Leader for the Greater Washington DC/Baltimore Region. Ms. Schoppmann currently serves as Manhattan Market Leader and Head of Occupier Services for CBRE’s New York Tri-State Region. She will assume her new role as of January 1, 2018.

Ms. Schoppmann also serves as the executive sponsor of CBRE’s Tri-State Women’s Network and, along with Americas CEO Jack Durburg, currently leads CBRE’s diversity strategy in the Americas.

“My experience on the New York Tri-State leadership team has been incredibly rewarding and has prepared me for my next challenge as CBRE’s leader for the Greater Washington DC/Baltimore Region,” Ms. Schoppmann said. “We have a strong team in the region with talented professionals across all business lines and a highly experienced management team. “I have known and worked with Kyle for more than a decade. She is a talented leader who is well-positioned to guide CBRE to new heights of accomplishment,” said John Germano, CBRE’s current Market Leader for Greater Washington DC/Baltimore, who announced his plan to retire at the end of 2017.

Ms. Schoppmann has more than 20 years of experience in sales strategy, training and professional development. She was previously a Consulting Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers and then IBM, where she led global teams who were responsible for sales and marketing strategies, enterprise software development and execution, business process improvement and change management.

Ms. Schoppmann serves as a board member of the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, where she chairs the Real Estate Committee, and sits on the board of British American Business, a transatlantic advocacy group for leading organizations throughout the U.K. and U.S. She received an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Duke University.
