Keith Gillan
Cove Property Founder Stephen Margerum will preside as board’s vice president, Carpet Consultants President Steve Weidner as treasurer, and Bozzuto VP Patrick Butler as secretary
The Board of Directors of the Maryland Multi-Housing Association (MMHA), which represents providers of rental housing and professional residential services, recently elected new officers for the 2017-2018 fiscal year. Keith Gillan, president of Murn Management, was elected board president. He is joined by Cove Property Management Founder Stephen Margerum who will serve as vice president, Carpet Consultants President Steve Weidner as treasurer, and Bozzuto Management Vice President Patrick Butler as secretary.
Collectively, the board’s new officers and new members represent a wide array of residential community interests across the state, convening a range of experience from property management companies and service providers. The diversity of perspectives will be especially valuable as MMHA continues to expand its program offering, including the new Service Training Academy which equips men and women with skills required for a career as a maintenance technician through a three-month course offered free-of-charge to the applicant.
“We are honored to welcome our new board leaders and members who have outstanding backgrounds and genuinely aspire to see our residential property industry and communities thrive,” said Adam Skolnik, executive director of MMHA. “There are a lot of exciting things happening at MMHA and we’ve seen some great successes recently tackling the challenges our members face, such as helping to fill the need for skilled maintenance technicians by launching our very own training program.”
A full list of MMHA’s 2017-2018 board members is provided below. For more information on MMHA and/or its Service Training Academy, please contact Adam Skolnik, executive director of MMHA, at #410-413-1544 or askolnik@mmhaonline.org.
