Maryland men's basketball head coach Mark Turgeon's recruiting efforts have earned praise from ESPN national recruiting director Paul Biancardi.
"Turgeon is recruiting the right talent," Biancardi told Glenn Clark Radio Nov. 7. "Guys who want to compete and understand they have to get better if they want to make it to the next level, not guys that are coming in and thinking they are leaving after one year. You have to know the mindset of the players that you are recruiting … they want to be coached, they are competitive by nature."
Turgeon, in his seventh season at Maryland, has forward Bruno Fernando and guard Darryl Morsell, both four-star recruits, among his 2017 class.
