CoStar Group Inc, a real estate research and analytics firm, has leased another floor in the WestRock Co.’s building overlooking the James River at 501 S. Fifth St. in downtown Richmond.
The Washington-based company — one of the nation’s fastest-growing firms — now occupies the upper four floors in the nine-story building along with 2,090 square feet on the first floor for a training room.
CoStar announced a year ago that it was moving its operations and research center to Richmond and said then that it planned to lease four floors and invest nearly $8.2 million in the building. It also said it expected to hire as many as 730 people over the next couple of years.
