Early next year, the Keswick Hall & Golf Club will close the doors of its award-winning hotel for an extensive renovation that is expected to last until spring 2019.
The project will feature a comprehensive reconstruction of the building’s interior and foundation along with a “floor-to-ceiling makeover” of the hotel’s 48 rooms and suites, public spaces, meeting facilities and dining areas.
The main building, parts of which were constructed more than 100 years ago, has not been renovated since the 1990s, owners Robert and Molly Hardie said. While portions have been “tinkered with over the years,” Molly Hardie said, things like the roof, heating and cooling systems, plumbing and other aspects of the infrastructure are due for a revamp.
