VT Group, a premier middle-market technology integrator and C4ISR solutions and services provider to the Federal government, is pleased to announce the hiring of Ted Timberlake as Chief Legal Officer.

Ted is an experienced transactions, corporate, operations, government contracting, and compliance attorney, and he will lead the legal, contracts, risk management, and industrial security departments. Ted previously served as general counsel of Vistronix and Global Integrated Security (USA) and worked in the legal departments of General Dynamics and Veridian.

In collaboration with other key executives, Ted successfully planned and executed several complex strategic financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and post-acquisition integrations while he was with Vistronix, including the acquisitions of six technology companies and the sale of the company to ASRC Federal Holding Company in 2016.

Ted received his juris doctor degree magna cum laude from The Catholic University of AmericaColumbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. and his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He is admitted to the Virginia State Bar and the Fourth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
