John Harbaugh: Change At Offensive Coordinator Not Imminent

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh once again threw his support behind embattled offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg at his weekly news conference Nov. 6, dispelling any notion that the Ravens might make a change at that position during their bye week.

The Ravens’ offense has sputtered all season, ranking 30th overall, 31st in passing and last in passing yards per play. In five of the past seven games, the Ravens have failed to score a touchdown in the first half, including the 23-20 loss at Tennessee on Nov. 5 that sends the Ravens into their bye week at 4-5.

But while the Ravens have made midseason coordinator changes in the past -- including last season, when Mornhinweg replaced Marc Trestman after five games -- and while the bye week affords a logical time to make personnel changes, Harbaugh suggested nothing like that was imminent with this team.
