The annual Green Power Leadership Awards (GPLAs), awarded by the Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), honor outstanding achievements by individuals and organizations in promoting green power. WGL Energy Services also received Green Power Leadership Awards in 2011 and 2014.

WGL Energy has been offering customers a growing and diverse portfolio of innovative clean energy solutions for 15 years. In 2016, WGL Energy wind power sales reached over 1.6 million MWh, bringing cumulative wind sales to over 7.5 million MWh.
