Carilion Clinic President and CEO Nancy Agee on Tuesday announced she would match up to $35,000 to help endow a scholarship fund at Jefferson College of Health Sciences.
Agee made the announcement during a gala celebrating the college’s 35th anniversary as a degree-granting institution.
She said all proceeds from the celebration at the Hotel Roanoke along with her contribution would go toward the President Nathaniel L. Bishop Endowed Scholarship. Bishop created the fund last year to help undergraduate students with tuition, books and other expenses.
