Double R Productions celebrates its 30th anniversary in business this year. In that spirit, all year President/Owner Rosemary Reed has been giving back to the community in many forms. One is that she is producing PSAs for free distribution that focuses on environmental issues. A second is creating pro bono videos for DC nonprofits and a third is by supporting the arts in ways such as serving on boards (Humanities DC) and training the next generation of media makers through internships.

On September 13, 2017, during the actual month Double R Productions was formed, Rosemary moderated a WIFV Executive Breakfast with panelists who have also had long careers in DC media. The program was called “30 Years & Counting: How Tough DC Media Mavens Survive & Thrive.” Panelists were Michal Carr (Hillmann & Carr), Linda Maslow (Maslow Media), and Gwen McKinney (McKinney & Associates).
