Divaris Real Estate’s Hampton Roads Office Negotiates Six Transactions Totaling 14,226 SF

Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (DRE) announces the completion of the following six transactions totaling 14,226 square feet of new and renewed commercial space throughout the Hampton Roads market.

New Transactions

European Wax Center leased 2,000 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased Crossways Shopping Center at1412 Greenbrier Parkway in Chesapeake, Va. David Redmond represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other tenants in Crossways Shopping Center include: DSW, Ross Dress for Less, T.J.Maxx, Marshall’s, ULTA, Value City Furniture, Michael’s, Rack Room Shoes, Panera and Kirklands.

Red Wing Shoes leased 1,950 square feet of retail space in Coliseum Square Shopping Center located at 2040 Coliseum Drive in Hampton, Va. DRE’s Erica Rorrer represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. Red Wing Shoes is relocating from Coliseum Crossing Shopping Center where it had been in business since 1988. Rorrer represents Red Wing Shoes in its search for new locations throughout Hampton Roads.

Access Law Group, P.C. leased 1,433 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Union Bank Building located at 603 Pilot House Drive in Newport News, Va. Karen Beale, SIOR, represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. The established local law firm joins other tenants in the building, including: Union Bank, Union Mortgage, State Farm, Chesapeake Bay Management and Goldbelt, Inc.

Lease Renewals

The Men’s Wearhouse renewed its lease for 6,302 square feet of retail space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Town Center of Virginia Beach located at 4545 Virginia Beach Boulevard. Erica Rorrer, Sezin Cortinas, and Gerald Divaris represented the landlord in the lease negotiations. Other retail tenants in Town Center include: Anthropologie, West Elm, Brooks Brothers, free people, Monkee’s. bevello, lululemon athletica and Destination Maternity.

Towncenter Cold Press renewed its lease for 1,623 square feet of retail space in Town Center of Virginia Beach as well. Formed from a merger with Daily Grind and rebranding, Towncenter Cold Press is undergoing extensive aesthetic renovation with exterior signage, lighting, new fixtures and furnishings, exposed brick, black espresso accent trim and white marble bar top to maximize seating capacity. This is the second location for the coffee juicery that will offer cold press juices, farm-to-fountain smuices (smoothie/juice blends), superfood lattes, oatmeal smoothie, warm and salad bowls.

Q-Design, P.L.C. renewed its lease for 918 square feet of office space in the Divaris-leased and -managed Building 77 located at 3 Ruckman Road in Fort Monroe, Va. DRE’s Elizabeth Napolitano and Chris Bendit represented the landlord in the lease negotiations.
