For the past few weeks, media members would shuffle in and out of the Ravens' locker room at the Under Armour Performance Center and scarcely pay any mind to the new face along the near wall, sitting quietly and in relative anonymity after practice each day.
But at M&T Bank Stadium Sept. 17, a crowd of media huddled around that same player, for Tony Bergstrom was suddenly thrust into the spotlight after news broke that Pro Bowl guard Marshal Yanda is lost for the season with a fractured ankle.
Bergstrom, 31, a six-year veteran who has been a Raven for less than a month, took Yanda's place against the Cleveland Browns and faces the daunting task of replacing perhaps the best guard in the league.
