Former Redskin Fred Smoot Appearing at Grotto Pizza in Gambrills, Tonight

GAMBRILS, Md. (Sept. 8, 2017) Grotto Pizza in Gambrills (2404 Brandermill Blvd., 21054) will salute the gridiron with an evening of football and festivity, Monday, Sept. 11.

Fred Smoot, who spent seven seasons as a cornerback with the Washington Redskins, will appear in a live remote broadcast with ESPN Radio from 4 to 8 p.m.

During that time, Grotto Pizza will offer 22 oz. Coors Light drafts for $4 and Sam Adams seasonal pints for $3.

After, guests can watch Monday Night Football on the restaurant’s 32 TVs.

Half-pound burgers and fries will be available for $6.99 from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m.

As part of Grotto Pizza’s standing Military Monday observance, anyone with a military ID will receive 50 percent off their pizza.
