Five Fantasy Football Players You Should Draft, And Five You Should Pass On

By Ken Zalis, PressBox

The preseason games are finished and about 1,000 free agents are on the market. There's just one week until the start of the regular season and thousands of drafts will take place during the next five-six days. As your last drafts begin, here are five players to draft and five pass on.

Draft these guys:

1. WR Stefon Diggs, Minnesota Vikings

2. RB Dalvin Cook, Minnesota Vikings

3. RB Duke Johnson Jr., Cleveland Browns

4. WR Tyrell Williams, Los Angeles Chargers

5. RB Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs

Diggs and Williams should be locks for 100 targets or more this season. Cook and Hunt are the rookie running backs I want the most, and both seem locked into a starting role. Cook could get overshadowed some by Latavius Murray, but he should be on the field a ton. Chiefs running back Spencer Ware was a fourth- or fifth-round player before his injury, and that was with Hunt cutting into his work. With Ware out, Hunt is the top back in a running-back-friendly offense in Kansas City. Johnson had a 4.9 yards-per-carry average in 2016. And I know everyone loves Cleveland running back Isaiah Crowell, but Duke will get his touches and represents a great late-round pick.
