Stan 'The Fan' Charles' MLB Power Rankings: Sept. 4, 2017

By Stan Charles, PressBox

Here are this week's rankings.

1. Los Angeles Dodgers (92-44 overall record, No. 1 ranking last week) -- How good have the Dodgers been in 2017? This past week was their worst of the season at 1-5. But you have to go back to week three of the season, when they went 2-4, to find a rough week. It was the only time they were below .500 overall at 9-10. This week, their lone win came Sept. 1 during left-hander Clayton Kershaw's return from the DL.

2. Cleveland Indians (80-56, No. 2) -- A perfect 7-0 week included two difficult double-header sweeps against the Yankees and Tigers. They are rounding into form nicely on both sides of the game.
