Terry McAuliffe Makes His Final, Spirited Pitch For Redskins Stadium At Welcome Home Luncheon

Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe spoke at Wednesday's Washington Redskins Welcome Home Luncheon, using his final team banquet as governor to lobby for a new Redskins stadium in the commonwealth.

Always the showman, McAuliffe opened by antagonizing Maryland and Washington, D.C.

"Anybody here from Maryland," McAuliffe asked. "Folks, it's OK if you like paying more taxes. That's fine with me. And is anybody here from the suburb of Virginia, Washington D.C.?

"The Potomac has catfish. We have dolphins that give children rides."
