The developer whose Vienna Market rezoning proposal was defeated last June soon may be coming back to the town with revamped plans calling for slightly fewer residential units and considerably less retail.
Developer Doug D’Alexander and architect Thomas Kyllo briefed the Vienna Town Council about the new plans during an Aug. 21 work session.
The original Vienna Market proposal called for 49 townhouse-style condominiums built above retail space and a 105-space underground parking garage. The property is located in the northwest corner of Maple Avenue, W., and Pleasant Street, N.W.
