With home victories against Drexel and Navy, the youthful Terps have jumped to their sixth 2-0 start in the last nine seasons. Maryland, which finished 3-15-1 during the 2016 campaign, will try to keep its streak going during its first road trip of the season. The Terps will visit Gardner-Webb (N.C.) Aug. 25 and conclude the two-game swing Aug. 27 at Furman (S.C.).

Maryland, which features 15 freshmen on its 33-player roster, can equal or surpass its 2016 win total during its upcoming southern swing.
