He joins an elite group of attorneys from Washington DC and across the country as members of the organization composed of outstanding black attorneys under the age of 40 who exemplify superior leadership and achievements in the legal industry and within their communities. He joins Associate Evie M. Hightower who was selected in a previous year.

The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 is an invitation-only professional honorary organization composed of 40 leading black lawyers under the age of 40 from each state who provide legal services to individuals, families and businesses. Membership is limited to those attorneys who practice in the following areas: Civil Plaintiff including Personal Injury; Criminal Defense; Civil Rights; Matrimonial and Family Law; Bankruptcy Law; Social Security Disability Law; Immigration Law; Employment Law; Wills, Trust and Estates; Banking and Finance; Business Formation; Labor and Employment Law; Business Transactions; Corporate Law; Litigation Defense; Intellectual Property; Trademark and Patents; Real Estate; Securities and Antitrust Defense; and Taxation.

At Eversheds Sutherland, Mr. Morrow counsels clients on a full range of state and local tax matters, including income, property, franchise, sales and use taxes. He also represents clients in various stages of tax compliance, planning, policy and controversy matters.

Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, Mr. Morrow was a staff tax attorney for the Revenue Administration Division of the Comptroller of Maryland, where he was responsible for providing legal services to the legislative and executive branches of state government, and to attorneys, tax professionals and other taxpayers requesting information or guidance on state tax revenue laws, regulations and policies.

Mr. Morrow recently concluded his role as the Chair of the Silver Spring Citizens Advisory Board for Montgomery County, Maryland. Board members are appointed by the Montgomery County Executive and confirmed by the County Council. The Board is tasked with providing advice to the County Executive and County Council on issues affecting Silver Spring, Maryland and Takoma Park, Maryland. These issues include transportation, economic development, housing, youth activities and the environment.
