Spring semester enrollment at Patrick Henry Community College (PHCC) dropped from the same period last year, corresponding with predictions. Yet summer enrollment increased slightly, despite fewer students being on campus.
PHCC had 2,175 students this past spring, down from 2,240 during the spring of last year, according to Vice President for Academic and Student Success Services Greg Hodges. That is a drop of 2.9 percent.
However, the number of full-time equivalencies (FTEs) dropped by 7.6 percent, from 1,577 to 1,457, statistics show.
