SAIC Awarded $39 Million Task Order by SSC Atlantic

RESTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SSC) Atlantic awarded Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) a task order to provide engineering services in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Combat Operations Center (COC). The single-award task order has a one-year period of performance, four one-year options, and a total award value of approximately $39 million.

“The COC is the cornerstone command and control suite for deployed Marines. The COC is a deployable, self-contained, centralized facility that provides shared command and control and situational awareness functionalities in a collaborative environment. The system is designed to enhance the tactical common operational picture for all levels of the Marine Air Ground Task Force. Under the contract, SAIC will provide engineering, logistics, testing, software integration, software development, information assurance and software security, and programmatic support services to operate and maintain the COC system.
