Polaris Alpha Appoints Joanne Isham and Henry Muller to its Advisory Board

8/15/17

Polaris Alpha today named two distinguished former government executives to its board of advisors. Former Intelligence Senior Executive Joanne Isham and Henry Muller, former director of the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center (CERDEC), were both named to Polaris Alpha’s advisory board. The board provides the company’s executive leadership with strategic guidance and advice as it serves its customers in the government, military and Intelligence Community.

Isham and Muller both bring a broad range of experience as lifelong federal servants, with Isham spending the bulk of her career in the Intelligence Community, while Muller served in the Army C4ISR R&D community for more than 30 years.

Isham brings decades of experience with intelligence agencies to Polaris Alpha, having formerly served in the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). Additionally, Ms. Isham has cultivated a very successful private sector career since leaving the federal government, working in high-profile capacities with a number of companies in the intelligence, defense and homeland security sectors.

Muller comes to Polaris Alpha after spending 33 years with the U.S. Army. Most recently, Muller was the director of the U.S. Army CERDEC, which is part of the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, and is tasked with developing technology and engineering solutions for America's soldiers.

“We are extremely grateful to have Joanne and Henry join our advisory board,” said Peter Cannito, CEO, Polaris Alpha. “They both have deep expertise in two vitally important sectors for us, the Intelligence Community and Military C4ISR. They will undoubtedly be able to provide our executive team with invaluable guidance as Polaris Alpha continues its growth.”

“I am excited to join the Polaris Alpha advisory team, at a time when the company is ascending to a leadership position in the national security market. Polaris Alpha is emerging as a major player with leading edge technology of great interest to this community. I am looking forward to leveraging my expertise in those areas to help the company continue its tremendous growth and success,” said Isham.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to become a part of such a dynamic company that has long played a critical role indeveloping technology for the military,” said Muller. “I am confident that my background will assist Polaris Alpha as it broadens its reach across all military sectors, in providing advanced technology and services to best serve American military personnel.”
