Knowledge to Practice, an Ed-Tech firm using competency-based, personalized, adaptive curricula to contemporize postgraduate medical education for physicians, announces Joseph Lemheney, Ed.D., as its Chief Learning Officer.
As CLO, Dr. Lemheney will report directly to Knowledge to Practice's Chief Executive Officer, Mary Ellen Beliveau. In his role as CLO, Dr. Lemheney will lead the company's lifelong learning team as well as clinical content operations. Together these teams are responsible for curriculum design, faculty development, instructional design and the actual development of meaningful clinical content as well as assessments. Lemheney and his team will create, develop and implement "content capsules" - manageable five to 20-minute self-contained lessons that present best practices and critical information to enable doctors to stay current with clinical guidelines, innovations and emerging medicine.

Before joining Knowledge to Practice, Dr. Lemheney was the Vice President of Education and ACGME Designated Institutional Official at Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), a $2.4B network and one of the nation's leading health systems. In this role, he successfully reengineered workforce development programs and organized education as an integrated service for LVHN's more than 15,000 employees. Prior to LVHN, Dr. Lemheney headed the Center for Teaching, Learning & Instructional Technology at Northampton Community College one of the nation's top community colleges. He holds a Doctorate of Education in Learning & Technology from Pepperdine University.
