Junior Achievement of Central Maryland Appoints Rachel Russell to Board of Directors

Junior Achievement of Central Maryland Inc. (JA), a non-profit organization dedicated to educating young people to succeed in a rapidly changing economy, announced the addition of Rachel Russell to its Board of Directors.

Russell is currently the Executive Director of Corporate Strategy & Marketing at Allegis Group, one of the largest privately held staffing and recruitment services companies in the world. At Allegis, Russell is responsible for driving strategic growth programs and manages a portfolio of change initiatives spanning $25 million in investments. She works closely with Allegis’ digital transformation of customer experience and brand portfolio management.

Prior to joining Allegis Group, Russell was the Vice President of marketing, business development, and customer experience innovation at Liquidity Services, a publicly traded ecommerce company. Before that, Russell worked in a variety of leadership positions for IT services company TEK Systems, and was a strategy and operations consultant with Deloitte. Russell graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with degrees in marketing and logistics. She later graduated from University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business MBA program.

As a member of the Board of Directors at Junior Achievement of Central Maryland, Russell will work closely with the organization to continue to provide support and education for young people throughout the region.
