HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Stu Shea, CEO of MHVC Acquisition Corporation, formerly Harris Corporation’s Government Services business, has named industry veteran John C. Pitsenberger as chief financial officer (CFO). As the company previously announced, it will soon launch its new brand.

His extensive industry insight will further strengthen our competitive position in delivering innovative solutions to our nation’s most sensitive and mission-critical programs.”
Pitsenberger most recently served as executive vice president and CFO of Sotera Defense Solutions (Sotera), where he was responsible for financial planning and analysis, corporate treasury, facilities, and all accounting and tax functions.
He previously served as vice president and corporate controller of Pacific Architects and Engineers (PAE) and Apptis. At PAE, he was responsible for the accounting and shared services organizations of the then-$1 billion government contractor with geographically dispersed operations in the Middle East and Africa. While at Apptis, Pitsenberger managed all of the accounting functions and helped secure the sale of the company to URS Corporation. Previously, he worked at Deltek, where he took the company through an initial public offering.
Pitsenberger began his career in public accounting at Beers & Cutler, PLLC (now Baker Tilly), practicing in both tax and audit. He is a CPA with a B.S. in accounting from the University of Maryland, College Park.
