James “Rocky” Query has been named interim vice president for finance and administration at Sweet Briar College.
He previously was the chief financial officer for Sterling College in northeastern Vermont. He also previously worked for Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
For more than 20 years, Query was a public finance investment banker for Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers on behalf of many colleges a universities nationally.
