The foundation created to help fund the New College Institute doesn't have any current plans to provide money to the school this fiscal year. That decision has NCI officials irritated and wondering why.
The New College Foundation (NCF), launched in 2006 at roughly the same time as the institute, was established to “support NCI and all of its activities and endeavors,” according to the institute’s website.
That essentially "means being our fundraising arm,” said NCI Executive Director Leanna Blevins.
