Vicki Hamp, regional vice president of Long & Foster’s Corporate Real Estate Services, was presented with Worldwide ERC’s Distinguished Service Award. She was chosen for the award earlier this year and accepted it during a luncheon at the organization’s Americas Mobility Conference held from May 17-19 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Worldwide ERC is an organization that connects and educates professionals in the workforce mobility and relocation industry around the world. The organization has over 9,000 members and only 165 members have earned the Distinguished Service Award since the organization was founded in 1964. With this award, Hamp achieves the Senior Certified Relocation Professional (SCRP) designation which is recognized as a differentiator in the industry.

“I’m passionate about connecting with and working with fellow professionals in the industry, and it’s such a privilege to be awarded for doing something you love,” Hamp said. “I’ve received just as much as I’ve given. Volunteering builds your network and energizes your career and I’m appreciative of the opportunities I’ve been provided to serve.”

Hamp was selected to receive the award based on her contributions to Worldwide ERC and its membership. She has served the organization in numerous ways, including moderating educational sessions, serving as a speaker and panelist, authoring articles for Worldwide ERC’s Mobility magazine, and serving on numerous boards, committees and task forces.

In May, Hamp and all the 2017 service award recipients were featured Worldwide ERC’s Mobility magazine. In addition to the work she does for Worldwide ERC, she is currently serving as the president of the Relocation Directors Council, a non-profit organization comprised of relocation and mobility specialists from throughout the United States.
