The League of Women Voters is bringing in some new technology that provides information to voters.

The D.C.-based organization is absorbing the technology and assets of e.the.people, which provides software to create digital voter guides. The acquisition was a gift, according to the League.

e.the.people, which is a nonprofit, provides voter guide technology. It’s used mostly by news organizations, and other orgs that look to distribute info about candidates, as well. One of those was the League of Women Voters. The organization has always put out voter guides. As more info becomes available digitally, the League used e.the.people’s software to power its voter guide at Vote411.org.
