Former Terp Melo Trimble Making Most Of Opportunity In NBA Summer League

The NBA Summer League is well underway, and several former Terps are competing in Las Vegas.

After sitting out two of the first three games of the Utah Summer League and the first two games in Vegas, Melo Trimble got a chance to play for the Philadelphia 76ers against the Boston Celtics July 11. He scored 13 points on 4-for-8 shooting (3-for-5 shooting from 3-point land) and added two steals in 13 minutes. Trimble played six minutes against the Los Angeles Lakers July 12.

"I know that's what I'm going to have to go through in my NBA career -- never know when my number's going to be called," Trimble said after the game July 11. "I just have to be ready and stay dialed in no matter what the circumstances are."
